Colleen Banks is a Senior Partner with over 17 years of experience. Her career in the financial services industry began working with the Lutheran community at Thrivent Financials. There she established a robust foundation that quickly matriculated into the engrained grassroots background, she leverages today. As she and her clientele grew, she transitioned to Wealth Development Strategies where she was able to assist a wider array of clients helping them plan ahead for their short-term needs and long-term goals. Currently, as a partner with Comprehensive Design Group, LLC, she is organized, has a keen attention to detail, and is able to handle multiple tasks as she helps work for the best outcome for all of her clients.
Colleen is dedicated to the financial well-being of her clients, she monitors the financial market trends, interest rates, and suitable investment models to helps her clients achieve their financial goals, through risk management, college funding, retirement strategies, mutual funds and estate planning strategies for portfolio management. She interacts with clients of all levels including but not limited to professionals, entrepreneurs, individual families, and others; whereas, she can help them identify their financial goals, to implement growth strategies to help asset management and financial potential.
Colleen is a native Houstonian with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Houston; she also holds her Group/ Life/ Health/ Variable insurance license in over 15 states.

Committee member of Black Professional Cowboy and Cowgirl Association, instrumental in promoting the African American achievements as Cowboys and Cowgirls while giving out scholarships to deserving students.
Additionally, Colleen has been invited to participate on panels with various organizations and invited to speak at church events to educate the community on the importance of monetary management. Proudly, Colleen has collaborated with other like-minded females in the industry to host the radio talk show, “Let’s Talk Money”.
Serving of the Board of Directors for the Greater Houston Black Chamber of Commerce, Colleen is honest, and loyal as she radiates and influences all aspect of her personal and professional involvement.
